BLACK BELT PROGRAM

HAPKIDO WARRIORS
13 Years-Adult

The Black Belt program provides a higher level of instruction for the more mature student. The program is open to those who desire a more advanced Hapkido curriculum. Students will be challenged and introduced to a more intense fitness and Hapkido self-defense class structure. The fitness challenges equip students to achieve the advance stunts and physical ability needed to accomplish techniques taught in class. The design of this class is exceptionally easy for anyone of any fitness level

 

The path to Black Belt begins with the basics. This program gradually improves the student's fitness, stamina and leads them to a more balanced physical and mental state. 

The art of Hapkido is a blend of Kung-Fu, Jujitsu, Karate, Kempo and Aikido. Students will learn traditional punch and kick techniques along with pressure points, joint locks and various Judo skills. Throughout the program, students will be taught how to defend themselves while developing skills to "think first" and not react on emotion.  

 

Each phase of training grows with intensity. The student will earn colored belts signifying their growth and achievement culminating with the ultimate goal being 1st Dan (degree) Black Belt.  ​

JR. BLACK BELT PROGRAM

 
   JUNIOR HAPKIDO WARRIORS
      7 - 12 Years Old

 

The Junior Black Belt program is designed as an introduction to martial arts in a fun and engaging environment. Instructors help junior warriors to develop strength, balance, and self-discipline. Students will build self-confidence as they accomplish goals and achieve advanced rankings with the ultimate accomplishment being their Junior Black Belt.

The words “I can’t” do not exist at Walker’s Martial Arts. They are replaced with “I can” and “I will”. Our students are taught to develop self-esteem by always expecting their best. We believe that everyone has special gifts and abilities. Reinforcing these beliefs leads to students having more self-respect which in turn leads to respect for parents, teachers, community and country.

Finally, students will learn self-defense through the art of Hapkido. Founded in Korea, Hapkido is a blend of martial arts that teaches students how to punch, kick, block, and many more techniques.

 

With 160 years of combined certified experience in IHKA Hapkido martial arts, our instructors will guide your child through the art of fighting without fighting. Teaching life values, self respect, promoting fitness and health through, games, music, fun and exciting challenges. 

 

Set the foundation and give your child the tools needed to excel in life and watch as your child's confidence sores and become a WARRIOR in life.

LIL' WARRIORS
4 - 6 Year Old

The Lil' Warriors program is designed to introduce students to the building blocks and development of basic martial art skills. Our fun and entertaining program incorporates music, games, mental challenges and obstacle courses. The Lil' Warrior curriculum helps to develop timing and motor skills required for punches, kicks,

blocks and other age appropriate basic martial arts elements. Though this program, students will improve memory and coordination skills, self-control, self-confidence, attention span, fitness and team participation. In addition the student will be introduced to the Basic Pre-K WMA Sparring system. Building confidence through individual challenges and team work.

Full Contact Kickboxing is a stand-up combat sport based on a mix of Martial Arts Kicks

and Boxing.  Grandmaster W. Walker 7th Dan Degree in Hapkido and amateur Kickboxer.      (Amateur FCR Adult Men 215lb - up division Rank #6 WKKO Ranking. U.S. Nationals). 

Has designed this program for individuals (Adults and Kids) wanting to compete in Kickboxing or just for general fitness. This F.C.K.. training program provides students and arsenal of Martial Arts skills, kicks, punches, combos and exceptional fitness regime to become a skillful

Full Contact Kickboxer Fighter. Discipline, Consistency and Comment are the focus tools that all students learn to achieve their goal. Also, this program is excellent for students that do not want to compete and are seeking a fighters workout to achieve ultimate fitness. With Master Walker's skill set, background in Martial Arts and Kickboxing. Students will accomplish their goals, increase strength, stamina. confidence, weight loss and self-defense skills.

If your looking for a fitness program that is supportive, goal oriented, challenging and at your on fitness level pace.  This is the perfect program for you. This program is designed for individuals seeking to lose weight, get fit at their own pace.  This program is specially designed for individuals who have had difficulty staying on a weight loss program.       You will learn to use the 7 basic rules to success for this program. Understand your body type, Eating patterns, Triggers and Cravings. Develop positive changes and building blocks that work for you. What works for others may not work for you. 

L.O.K. Fit Monthly Accountability Support Group Meetings.  

Throughout your class you will learn simple, basic kickboxing skills while incorporating, light free weights, kettle bells, core training, bag work and much more. Each class is fun, exciting, a great challenge for any fitness level. Students that participate in this program can develop increased strength, stamina, muscle tone, and weight loss.

WMA Awareness Self Protection 

WASP workshops are designed to educate, train, and equip Individuals and Businesses on personal and work place safety. Participants will gain informative safety protocols and Self Defense tactics.  WASP instructors are Certified Master Instructors in Martial Arts self-defense and have Law Enforcement and Corpoarate Security backgrounds. This program is by appointment only.
